What are the types of quartz clocks?

1. Radio-controlled Clocks

Radio-controlled clocks are very stable and popular. They work by encrypting the time signal through a standard time authorization center, transmitting it wirelessly via a low-frequency carrier wave, and then receiving the signal through a built-in receiver. The advantage of this type of clock is that all time displays are highly synchronized, resulting in very high accuracy.

2. Electronic Clocks

Electronic clocks work by converting electrical energy from a battery into magnetic energy, which is then converted into mechanical energy to power the clock.

3. Transistor Clocks

Transistor clocks look similar to ordinary alarm clocks, using transistors as switches and having a specialized movement. They are relatively stable, feature-rich, and reasonably priced, making them very popular.

4. Digital Clocks

Digital clocks are quite common nowadays. They are stylish, come in many designs, and have a long lifespan, making them a popular choice for moving into a new home. Although they use a quartz crystal as an oscillator, they can display the time on a screen without mechanical transmission.
