Basic information about the clock

A clock refers to a wall clock. It evolved from tower clocks, with large tower clock buildings appearing in Europe around the 16th century. Due to the limitations of manufacturing technology at the time, clocks were generally large. With technological advancements, breakthroughs in quartz clock technology in Japan during the mid-20th century led to its application in clockmaking.

Small clocks are now common in homes. There are three main types of clocks: 1. Analog quartz clocks; 2. Mechanical clocks; 3. Digital clocks. Clocks are essential in some hallways and rooms, especially in general offices. Hanging a clock in these places is believed to have five benefits: attracting wealth, warding off evil spirits, improving the owner's fortune, managing subordinates, and keeping track of time. However, if the placement of a clock is not in accordance with feng shui principles, it can be inauspicious. The face of the clock should not face inwards; it should ideally face the door or balcony.

A clock combines telling time with artistic taste. An artistic wall clock can reflect the owner's artistic refinement and create an artistic atmosphere.
