Step 1: Gather Your Tools

The compressed air will help blow away loose dust and debris, while the isopropyl alcohol is great for dissolving stubborn grime. Step 2: Remove the Circuit Board

Make sure to be careful around the components and avoid getting the alcohol on any areas where it might cause damage. If there are any stubborn spots, you can dip the soft-bristled brush into the alcohol and gently scrub those areas. Just be gentle so you don't break any of the components.
Step 5: Rinse and Dry
Once you've cleaned the board with the alcohol, you might want to give it a quick rinse with some distilled water. This will help remove any remaining alcohol residue. After rinsing, use a lint-free cloth to dry the board thoroughly. Make sure there's no moisture left on the board, as this could cause short circuits later on. You can also let the board air dry for a little while to be extra sure.
Step 6: Reassemble the Clock
Once the circuit board is completely dry, it's time to put everything back together. Carefully place the board back into the clock movement and secure it with the screws. Then, reassemble the rest of the clock, following the steps in reverse order. Once you're done, plug in the clock or insert the battery and see if it's working properly.
